The Hobbit

Finally! After a couple of attempts to go see the movie that were halted by stupid circumstance - *humph* - I finally managed to go see it, and, you know, I might just be in love with Thorin... just a little bit <3 Those eyes, that hair! Okay, so he's a little short and doesn't really exist, we could make it work ;p

Truly, it is a spectacular movie, so if you haven't seen it - go! I was afraid that I'd get bored - I'm generally not good at sitting in one place for long periods of time - but that absolutely didn't happen. A few of the scenes I thought were rather overblown and could have used some trimming, but otherwise the detail was superb. I had to stare at the eagles as the feathers were so beautifully done. The IMAX 3-D version cost more to see, but was very much worth it.
Yes, *sigh*, I think I am going to see it again.

Now I have to wait almost a year to see part 2... :(

I've seen it twice. Martin Freeman was inspired casting as Bilbo but, then again, Jackson has a knack for getting the perfect people for the roles.

Totally. Not like we don't all have a buttload of experience at making it work with fictional people :P

Hurrah! You've finally seen it. Glad that you enjoyed it ... I think we are all a bit in love with Thorin *beams* and Kili! :)

I may go see it again tomorrow!

Ah yes Kili, a definite close second! There have been precious few films I've wanted to see twice, but this is one I've got to see on the big screen again, too. :)
